Louise Ezell Bolch, 71, of Eighth Avenue, SE, died Oct. 24, 2001, at Frye Regional Medical Center.

Born March 14, 1930, in McDowell County, she was a daughter of the late Joseph A. and Mary Bass Ezell.

A member of Highland United Methodist Church, where she served in the Women's Circle, she was a homemaker and member of the North Carolina Extension and Community Association, formerly known as Fairgrove Extension Home Makers Club.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn E. Bolch.

Survivors include her husband, Charles R. Bolch; a son and daughter-in-law, Alan C. and Pat Bolch of Hickory; a daughter and son-in-law, Susan B. and Carroll W. Clark of Hickory; a brother, Dean J. Ezell of Clayton, Ga.,; two sisters, Betty E. Mitchell and Dorothy E. Strawn of Hickory; and two grandsons, Adam C. Clark and Erick A. Bolch of Hickory.

The funeral will be conducted by the Rev. James Church at 11 a.m. Saturday at her church.

Burial will be in Catawba Memorial Park.

The family will be at the church one hour prior to the service.
